This company gets 5 stars.we have done the scenic cruise multiple times and always enjoyed it but last weekend we had the privilege of enjoying the Pine Knot tour and lunch...what a great experience..the food was awesome the staff was extremely friendly,professional and always looking to help in anyway they can...i am extremely impressed with this company and definitely recommend it to anyone interested! You will not be disappointed

The captain along with his wonderful narration make the rainy day very enjoyable .
I've been up to Long Lake on vacation for the last two years and attended a dinner cruise on the W.W. Durant on both visits. Last year, I did a traditional dinner cruise where I could pick from a selection of 4 different dinner options - one beef, one fish, one vegetarian and special option. I chose the beef dish which was prime rib (the fact that I can remember it a year later should tell you something). This year, I did a wine pairing cruise which has a prix fixe menu that consisted of 5 courses and paired with wine supplied by one of my favorite Finger Lakes wineries - Dr. Konstantin Frank. Each course was perfectly prepared and elegantly presented as you would expect from a culinary professional with a CIA pedigree, like Chef Pohl. If the food wasn't good enough, the traditional boat cruises feature historical commentary from Captain Pohl and gorgeous views of Raquette Lake. If you let the banquet style seating and quaint decor of the boat fool you - prepare to have your pre-conceptions shattered. The value you get for the cost of a plate is tremendous, I almost felt like I was stealing. Well worth the trip if you're in the area.
